•    Time frame

With the exception of plenary speeches the net time frame for all papers is exactly 20 minutes. After each block of presentations there is ample time for discussion. See the programme for the time frame allotted for your presentation.

•    Technical equipment

All conference rooms are equipped with data projectors and a computer at the speaker's desk. You may also bring and connect your own notebook. Please make sure you bring your presentation file(s) with you on a USB stick.

Please contact the conference room assistant in the break before your block to prepare your presentation.

•    Conference fee
The conference fee indicated under Registration applies to all participants.

Unfortunately we cannot waive the conference fee for LICTRA speakers.
In order to ensure the high standards of quality you can to expect from LICTRA and its conference proceedings volume, we must have a certain amount of funding. The conference receives its funding from conference fees and other sources, such as the DFG (German research foundation). The DFG funds are allocated for specific purposes and cannot be used for expenses such as catering.

Many of the LICTRA participants are speakers presenting the results of their research. If we were to waive the conference fee for speakers, the fee for the other conference participants would be unacceptably high.

•    Grants for travel expenses
In many cases, we can provide grants to foreign speakers, upon request, to cover all or part of their travel expenses. (The funds for the grants come from the DFG, NOT from conference fees).

Speakers from Germany are kindly requested to have their travel expenses reimbursed by their home universities.
